Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Dear Valued Thai Food Owensboro Guest:
 

WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS and as always, the health and safety of the communities we serve, our guests and our team members are of utmost importance to us.  We are following all local, state, and federal guidelines in respect to preparing food during this pandemic.  With the growing concern about COVID-19, I wanted to share with you our usual routines and high standards, as well as the additional steps we have taken to further prevent the spread of illness and contamination.

Ordering food:  We are striving to make ordering food as safe and easy as possible. Our pick-up window allows you to get your food without entering the resturarant. 

Hand-washing: Our employees are required to regularly wash their hands, and must wash their hands at the start of their shift, after their break, after direct contact with another individual, after using the restroom or handling garbage, after handling cash, cleaning, when beginning a new task and so on.
 

Cleanliness: We always strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food safety. We have increased the frequency of disinfecting our door handles, our hallways, and every counter surface of the restaurant.  All utensils used for making and serving food are cleaned frequently; every time new food is brought out, the utensils are changed. 

Employee Health:  Thai Food Owensboro employees are required to follow CDC recommended actions including staying home if they feel sick and only return to work once they are symptom free for at least 48 hours, as well as provide the necessary documentation that states that they are safe to return to work.
 

Gloves: All team members are educated on proper glove use and are required to wear gloves when touching food with their hands.  Gloves must be changed regularly.  We will continue to follow updates and recommendations suggested by the CDC, state and local Departments of Public Health, and World Health Organization to ensure a safe environment for our guests and employees alike.  

In conclusion, earlier this year we worked diligently to ensure various delivery options, DoorDash, BigOTakeOut, & GrubHub, are available for our customers.  For take-out orders, we now have a website Toast Take-Out and two mobile apps Toast Take-Out for (IPhone) and Toast Take-Out for (Android). Whether you prefer dine-in, carry-out or delivery, we are here to serve you.
